An invitation from our partners the Finnish British Chamber of Commerce, you are invited to an evening of Gin Tasting with a little Finnish flavour!

The Brits have long had a love affair with Gin, its consumption curtailed by the Gin Act of the 1750’s and boosted by modern consumers in the lat

This tasting is more than just a cross section of today’s interesting gin bottlings. We go back to the beginning, including Jenever (the ancestor of contemporary gin) and Old Tom (often called the bridge between Jenever and Gin) in the tasting range. Importantly the tasting will also feature one or two famous Finnish offerings!

A range of botanicals and gin aroma phial kits are also included in the tasting for nosing and subsequent scent recognition and recall.  The tasting features a full range of premium tonics, used in a special mini Gin & Tonic combination round. Finally of course, substantial canapes will be served throughout the evening.

The drinks reception starts at 18:00 and we kindly ask the guests to arrive latest by 18:30. The gin tasting will run from 18:30 to 20:00, with a food service occurring throughout.
